How We Connect with Our Clients

Starting our Relationships

We make every effort to reach potential clients within 48-hours. Its important to us that we dedicate the necessary time to listening to your needs and vision for the project before we begin the process of building your dream. That is why sometimes we will make several phone calls to you to make sure we are getting everything just right.

The Estimate

When we schedule your estimate, we will ask you to send us a couple pictures of the existing area along with a guesstimate of measurements/sizes (if needed). Also, if you have some inspiration photos of what you want the space to look like that can be helpful too. During the estimate call, we will ask you about some basic details of your project. At that point we will give you an estimate (usually a range) over the phone based on our past projects of similar size and scope.

Bidding a Project

Once you decide that our estimate fits your budget and are ready to proceed to the formal bid, we will come out and take precise measurements, inspect the existing conditions, determine the exact fixtures and finishes for your project, draft plans, and come up with a detailed scope of work laying out exactly what services we will be performing, and giving you an exact price for those services. The design/bid phase can takes some time depending on the extent and complexity of your project. We want to make sure we are getting everything exactly the way you want it.

Presenting the Package

Once the bid proposal is complete, we will set up a meeting and present the proposal to you in person. During the presentation, we will discuss materials, scheduling, payments, potential issues and change orders, as well as the basic outline of how construction will proceed. At the end of the presentation, we sign a contract, collect the deposit, and begin ordering the materials for your project.

Sourcing Materials

During the bidding process we start looking to vendors and suppliers to source the materials we will need to complete your project. While we are generating a materials list an emphasis is placed on trying to find and source products from local suppliers, especially for the finishes. In our experience local suppliers produce a better quality product but they can sometimes have delays due to small business material and labor shortages. If a delay does occur we will tell you as soon as the supplier lets us know.
